We know that when you're craving a particular dish or planning dinner, you don't want to wait days for a package. Speed is crucial, especially with fresh food. That's why we've developed a delivery model that's as fresh and dynamic as our products.
To ensure you know exactly when your purchase will arrive and how our marketplace works, we'll explain our delivery promise to you here in simple terms.
The AmlouBox principle: Order today, delivered this evening
Our main goal is to get your order to you as quickly as possible. We deliver on all days that our retailers' stores are open (weekdays).
The rule of thumb is simple: If you place your order before 3 pm on a weekday, it will be delivered to you on the same day .
Our delivery window is perfect for after work: Your order will arrive between 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm .
Quick tip: When paying (at checkout), feel free to leave us a message letting us know when you'll best be home within that time frame. Our drivers will try to take that into account!
(Orders received after 3:00 PM or on Sundays and public holidays will be freshly processed and delivered to you on the next working day.)
A special feature for maximum freshness: One retailer per order
To guarantee this speed, we have optimized our logistics. AmlouBox is a marketplace where various specialized retailers offer their best products.
To ensure your goods reach you directly from the retailer without detours or intermediate storage, we adhere to the following:
Each order can only contain products from ONE retailer.
Why do we do this? It's the most direct way. The retailer packs your bag, and our delivery partner picks it up right there and brings it directly to you. This ensures the cold chain, saves time, and guarantees freshness – especially important for meat or dairy products.
Imagine it like a real weekly market: You buy your meat at the butcher's stall, pay there, and then go on to the cheese stall for your next purchase.
So if you want products from different retailers (e.g. meat from retailer A and delicatessen from retailer B), you simply place two separate orders .
Costs, minimum order value and the alternative to delivery
To ensure our logistics model works fairly for everyone and we can offer you this fast service, the following conditions apply:

Minimum order value: This is €24.99 per order with one retailer.

Delivery costs: For fast delivery to your doorstep, we charge a delivery fee of € 3.99 per order . (This means: If you order from two different retailers, you will be charged delivery costs twice, as two different drivers will be dispatched).
The flexible alternative: Click & Collect. Want to save on delivery fees, are you nearby anyway, or simply want to stay flexible? No problem!
During checkout, we also offer the option "Pick up in store" . You can conveniently order and pay for your desired products online at AmlouBox – and then simply pick up your pre-packed AmlouBox bag directly from the retailer.
Where exactly do we deliver?
We're starting our adventure in Düsseldorf . You can easily see if your exact address is already within our delivery area by entering your postal code at the beginning of your visit to AmlouBox. We are constantly working to expand our area.
